Kelley House Museum : 707-937-5791 : the principal museum and caretaker of Mendocino's history. The Kelley House is hosting many of the events during Heritage Days.

Point Cabrillo Light Station: 1909 light station with operational Third-Order Fresnel lens on display. Point Cabrillo is also adjacent to the wreck of the Frolic. Efforts to recover the cargo led to the discovery of the vast redwood forests on the North Coast, with the first mills built within a year. The Museum has artifacts and pictures relating to the Frolic.
